Retrofitted Curved Desk Glass Screens
Last week, we installed toughened Glass Security Desk Screens, retrofitted to an existing curved desk at a GP surgery. The flat glass panels help avoid unwanted light reflections while providing excellent clear vision for staff and visitors.
Our client’s staff are now feeling much happier with the additional protection from drafts, while also benefiting from a discreet barrier that helps keep overbearing, intimidating or hostile visitors at a safe distance. Glass Sliding Hatch successfully installed!
Our bottom hidden roller, by passing system for glass doors is proving increasingly popular, combining a sleek, modern appearance with smooth reliable operation.
The precision engineered aluminium tracks incorporate concealed bottom rollers with nylon tyres and sealed ball bearings, providing excellent durability and effortless movement. All of our Glass Hatches are fully custom made, from the smallest to the largest, and are designed to help protect staff and premises from a range of hazards, including assault, break-ins and drafts. They can also help reduce the risk of confidential information and equipment being accessed or removed.
This particular Hatch was manufactured and installed within just two weeks of receiving the order, helping our customer meet their planned premises opening date.

Solid Timber Framed Screens
The brief for this University seating area was to provide Free standing Beech Framed Screens that could be easily moved, allowing the space to be enlarged or reconfigured as required. The choice of beech timber complimented the existing barrier frames and timber doors, creating a cohesive and natural finish throughout the area.
Following the success of the initial installation, we were asked to supply additional matching Screens for another area of the University. The client was particularly impressed by their versatility and flexibility, making them an ideal solution for adapting the space to changing requirements.

Out-of-Hours Installation – Security Desk Glass Screens
Our team recently completed the installation of these bespoke Security Desk Glass Screens out of hours, minimising disruption to this extremely busy A&E department. The primary requirement was security, while also helping to reduce the constant draft coming through the main entrance doors.
The Reception team were delighted with the result. The screens provide an enhanced sense of security while maintaining a clear, unobstructed view of the waiting area. They also offer an additional barrier between Reception Staff and Patients, supporting improved infection control.
