Sliding Aluminium Security Hatches with locks are increasingly being installed in Reception areas, providing Reception Staff with a secure working environment while still allowing them to communicate easily with students and visitors and safely receive deliveries and packages.

For this particular project, two different Security Sliding hatch heights were required to accommodate the Reception Desks. One Sliding Hatch was installed at a lower level to provide accessibility for the disabled desk, while the second was positioned at a higher level for the main Reception Desk

The Sliding Hatches were installed within a bespoke wooden surround, which not only compliments the reception area but also incorporates a practical shelf for visitors to place items while speaking with the Receptionist.

The result is a secure, practical and welcoming Reception solution, combining functionality, accessibility and a professional finish.
