Security Hatches
Screen Plus Internal sliding glass Security Hatches offer a great solution for clear internal security without over the top and obtrusive hardware.
Designed for a particularly busy Office Reception this Security Glass Reception Hatch protects staff from noise, drafts and attacks while providing a sliding hatch for discussion and the passing of packages across the desk. Good all-round visibility enables developing problems and risks to be spotted early on. The light airy design complemented the Entrance to the Office. The Manager was pleased with the finished product.

Growing risks of workplace violence
The risks of workplace violence and aggression are significant in healthcare settings, including GP surgeries. Incidents where staff are abused, threatened, or assaulted can lead to severe physical and psychological harm, underscoring the importance of proactive security measures. The increase need for Security around the Reception desk to protect the Staff is a must.
From the initial call we installed our High Security Desk bespoke screens here at this GP surgery within three weeks. The response from the Staff, was that the fact that the Board cared about the welfare of the Reception Staff.

Security Desk Screens are a Must
A recent survey has shown that a significant percentage Receptionists, reported experiencing or witnessing violence. This can include verbal abuse, pushing, kicking, and throwing objects. The need for Security Desk screens is a must now for all Reception areas. This school requested screens to be installed quickly as a member of staff was badly injured.
Studies have reported that patient aggression towards Receptionists was a frequent and routine occurrence in general practice, particularly verbal abuse, hostility, and use of racist, ableist, and sexist insults.
Nine studies reported acts of physical violence towards receptionists, although these occurred much less frequently than verbal abuse. But some acts were very serious, and included being hit, shaken, held at gunpoint, stalked, and threatened with a razor blade.
