Reception Desk Security Screens
A toughend glass screen, retrofitted to provide Level 1 attack resistance while providing an unencumbered view for staff to observe the public area. The lockable hinged hatch enables large packages to be passed through the screen.
The horizontal transaction slot beneath the hatch enables documents and small packages to be passed through. The smart looking screen blends well with the smart veneered desk to which it has been fitted.

Sliding Hatch Reception Screens
To provide protection from both attack and covid 19 the customer specified a fixed glass screen with a small lockable sliding hatch. The sliding glass hatch enables discussions and the passing of documents and packages.
The 10 mm thick framed toughend glass provides excellent protection while maintaining the all round observation of the public area. When closed the screen helps attenuate noise from the public area. When locked overnight equipment and documents are protected from pilfering.

A retrofitted Toughened glass screen providing level 1 attack resistance combined with good communication and documentation exchange through horizontal transaction slots at chosen points.

Security Reception Screens
An example of a straight toughened glass retrofitted screen with the posts fixed top and bottom for additional strength. Level 1 attack resistant security is provided. it was particularly important that the view across the public area was not impeded and that discussion could take place both at counter level and above with upright adults. The transaction slots are dimensioned to enable chosen size packages and documents to be passed through the screen. Staff have an uninterrupted view across the public area. The screen was designed to be attractive and not imposing. A requirement was to provide protection without discouraging visitors with an imposing screen.
