ISSA Medical Centre – Preston

Enhancing Reception Security Without Compromising Visibility with Reception Glass Security Screens.

This large Reception Desk required an urgent security upgrade to provide better protection for Reception Staff, while maintaining clear visibility and effective communication with visitors.

The key requirements included a sliding hatch for passing packages, envelope pass-through cut-outs within the glass and speech transfer units for each Receptionist. The solution needed to provide a secure barrier without creating an unwelcoming environment.

Working closely with the client, we developed a bespoke Reception Security Screen designed around three key priorities: Staff Security, Full Height Visibility, and Clear Communication.

Following design approval, the stainless steel posts and clamps were manufactured to a demanding production schedule. Safety toughened glass was also manufactured to the required British Standards, with carefully designed cut-outs to accommodate the pass through openings and communication requirements.>/p>

Given the exceptionally busy nature of this Surgery Reception, our installation team worked outside normal hours to minimise disruption to Staff, Patients, and Visitors.

The finished installation delivered a Robust, Secure, and Professional Reception solution, combining enhanced Staff protection with clear visibility and effective communication.

From initial concept approval through to manufacture and installation, the entire project was designed, manufactured, and installed within just four weeks, demonstrating our ability to deliver bespoke Security Solutions to tight deadlines without compromising on quality or functionality.
