EDGEWARE HOSPITAL – DESKTOP SECURITY SCREENS
A new entrance Reception desk had been installed by others, creating a fresh, modern appearance with its clean white finish. To compliment the new desk while providing enhanced security for Reception staff, the client required our bespoke Desk top Security Screens.
The Security Desk Screen design was approved by the client, who was particularly pleased with the thought and attention given to incorporating both the DDA compliant desk area and speech transfer units into the overall design.
A key feature of the design was the use of straight glass panels across the curved sections of the desk. This approach helped minimise the glare and optical distortion often associated with curved glass, while maintaining excellent visibility across the Reception area.
From design approval through to installation, the project was completed in approximately three weeks.
The finished installation provides a high level of security for Reception Staff, excellent all round visibility and an open, welcoming environment for visitors. The clean design compliments the new Reception Desk while integrating the required accessibility, communication and security features seamlessly.
