The A&E Reception Security Screens were fully designed, manufactured, and installed within just four weeks of the initial concept being agreed with the client.

The key project requirements were security, clear full height vision, and easy communication between Hospital Staff and Visitors at the reception desk. The design was developed around these priorities, providing a secure barrier while maintaining an open and welcoming environment.

Once the design was approved by our client, the full height stainless steel posts and clamps were manufactured to a tight production schedule, alongside safety toughened glass manufactured to the required BS standards. Purpose designed

Cut out pass through gaps were incorporated into the glazing to allow staff and visitors to communicate and exchange items easily.

Due to the extremely busy nature of the A&E department, the installation team worked out of hours, minimising disruption to Hospital Operations. The complete installation was carried out ready for hospital staff to return at 6:00am, ensuring the reception area could continue operating as normal.
